The Bookeye® book scanner and software solutions for scanning, electronic document delivery and periodical indexing are based on development and production know-how acquired over a period of more than ten years.

As one of the world's leading providers of products for the digitisation and content indexing of books, maps, drawings and other media, ImageWare Components' reputation is founded on traditional, high-quality technologies and experience „Made in Germany".

Bookeye 3 A1   Motorised Book Cradle A1

The principle of scanning historic books, valuable manuscripts, stapled documents, color drawings and maps without causing damage has been optimised and refined with the new generation of Bookeye® overhead scanners.

The scanner developed and produced in Germany combines state of the art scanning lenses, high-quality CCD image sensors and white LED light, bundled in a movable continuous light strip, which follows the scanning process.

Bookeye® Book Cradles widen the operational capabilities of the book scanners. Libraries and archives prefer book cradles. The motor-driven book cradle scans valuable books and fragile books as well as very large and bound documents of up to 350 mm and up to A1.

You put the book onto the book cradle plate. You can either lift or lower the book cradle by pressing a button, depending on the size of the book. Then the pages of the book are level and UV and IR free cool lamps digitize them. Even the lines in the book-fold can be scanned.
